Two strangers try to navigate their loneliness in big city.

The disturbed young loner Paul is looking for his place in life in the urban 80s metropolis Night City. When the sleazy city infused with crime and violence pushes him to the edge, he decides to strike back against the scum. Falling in love with the young would-be prostitute Cindy gives Paul's life a new direction, but unreturned emotions pull him into a vortex of violence from which he cannot be saved. David, a ruthless cop, is on Paul's trail. In the streets of Night City, where the line between justice and injustice, morals and mania and life and death begin to blur, both antagonists enter collision course.

A group of four friends share a fun night together until each one reveals a secret that will change their friendship forever.

In the midst of war, a man watches his beloved one by lighting the three matches he has left. Then, in the pitch darkness, a forest grows from their lovemaking and protects them from the war.

"Night City Angels", featuring the wonderful music of Michael Kamen, is about a troubled young woman and her guardian angel, Amelia Earhart (whom only she can see, of course). Amelia is a member of an ad hoc committee, composed of Harriet Tubman, Joan of Arc, Daddy Bigbucks and Aristotle, to do something about other angels that do nothing but sit around and play their harps all day.

Young Monique leaves the preventorium where Doctor Delaunay has lovingly cared for her. A painful return. Her mother Denise lives with Eugène, a handsome, disreputable young man who's easy to please and, on occasion, won't hesitate to steal. He hangs around Monique, excited by her freshness, until the day he is shot on suspicion of the disappearance of a mobster. Monique is reunited with Dr Delaunay, much to the satisfaction of her guardian Gilbert, known as Patte-en-moins, owner of the local bistro.

Elio is a member of a group of youngsters, all from good families, who have fun spending their days taking on silly challenges and perpetrating illicit activities. Their actions escalate and lead them to commit a robbery. Unfortunately, the robbery ends badly and a death ensues, leaving the group implicated in a murder. The police are groping in the dark due to the complexity of the investigation. Meanwhile, Elio meets and falls in love with a nightclub stripper, Suzette. The rest of the group, after a while, think they've got away with it, but make a reckless mistake that allows the police to track them down and arrest them.

Back in his hometown to celebrate the success of his latest book, David learns that his assistant and friend, Michael, is going to become a father. Shaken by this discovery, the young author must confront his truth and understand who he has become, especially when Sasha, a past love, suddenly reappears that same evening. Faced with these two surprises, David wonders if he can still employ the manipulative persona that he has built for himself?

Based on a short story by Sinclair Ross, this short film recalls rural life on the Prairies in the 1930s. In the film a farmer's young son, sent to town to hire a man for the harvest, readily accepts when an itinerant trumpet player, down on his luck, begs a chance. He is hardly the kind of man the boy's father had in mind, but that night his trumpet speaks from the shadows and everyone pauses to listen.
